On July 20-25 1999 in Toronto Canada, 9000 teen's joined together to for an event that only occurs once every four years, Nazarene Youth Congress.
NYC 99, was an event I was able to be a part of.
NYC, a training week for the Nazarene Teen's of the USA and Canada, and a few countries around the world.
At NYC us teens experienced indescribable
services with awesome speakers, and one great service project,
were we went out into Toronto doing various
Mission To Other's projects.
And there was outstanding Band's.
It was so great words can't describe it.
This is Canada Man; He's the mascot for NYC 99.
Throughout the week Canada Man was seen all around
the city of Toronto with the NYCers.
I was fortunate enough to speak to him.
He said to me,
"Get all you can get from NYC. Ring-it out dry."
Then he told me to check out Ephesians 3:20-21.
"I pray that Christ Jesus and the church will
forever bring praise to God. His power at work in us can
do far more than we dare ask or imagine, Amen"

That verse to me is saying, Praise God because
his work in us does so much more than we
could do on our own.
This was at the Toronto Sky Dome.

I'm in there honestly; I'm behind that one dot.
Just think, 9000 people walking down a lonely sidewalk at 12 a.m. It took us 2 hours to have that awesome shot taken.
We walked at least a half-a-mile to the Toronto Sky Dome to have our group picture taken.
I remember it being cramped and I was so tiered. But it was worth it to see that great shot taken of 9000+ people.
I bet your wondering what happened to the cross?
Well it was cut up into a bunch of little crosses,
and given to everyone who attended Nazarene Youth Congress 99.
As for the location of my cross, I'm in the process of finding it. Just for the record, I didn't loose it,
I just forgot where I put it.
I know I put it where I wouldn't loose it;
but I just can't remember where that is.
